Prayer: "Dear Lord,  As I venture into this new year, I have no idea what might be in store for me.  There may be great joy, there may be great sorrow, or there may be some of each.  No matter what I face, though, I know that I will not face it alone -- for You are always walking with me every step of the way, every hour of every day. Thank You, Jesus, for staying with me all the way.  Help me to stay close to You throughout this new year, I pray.  In Your precious and holy name, AMEN."
