Oct 11 - Crown Him the King of Kings!

Bible Verse: Psalm 96:8-10 New Living Translation (NLT) "Give to the Lord the glory He deserves! Bring your offering and come into His courts. Worship the Lord in all His holy splendor. Let all the earth tremble before Him. Tell all the nations, “The Lord reigns!” "

Prayer: "Dear Lord, I humbly bow before You in worship and adoration. I am not worthy to even approach Your throne, but because of the blood that You shed for me on the cross, and because I have claimed Your shed blood as the atoning sacrifice for my sins, I can now call myself Your child. You are the Creator and Ruler of all things, and today I crown You the Lord of my life. I give You complete control over every aspect of my being and ask that You would rule my life according to Your will.  You are the only true King, and I worship You today as the Lord of all that is and ever will be! In Your precious name I pray, AMEN."

"Crown Him With Many Crowns"

Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne.
Hark! How the heav'nly anthem drowns all music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee,
And hail Him as thy matchless King through all eternity.

 Crown him the Lord of love, behold His hands and side,
 Those wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky can fully bear that sight,
 But downward bends His wand'ring eye at mysteries so great.

Crown Him the Lord of peace, whose hand a scepter sways
From pole to pole, that wars may cease, and all be prayer and praise.
His reign shall know no end, and round His pierced feet
Fair flowers of paradise extend their fragrance ever sweet.

Crown Him the Lord of years, the Potentate of time,
Creator of the rolling spheres, ineffably sublime.
All hail, Redeemer, hail! For Thou hast died for me;
Thy praise shall never, never fail throughout eternity!
