June 25 Sheltered in the Arms of God

Bible Verse: Psalm 9: 1-2 New Living Translation (NLT) "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him."

Prayer: "Dear Lord, Today I thank You for Your protection. How many times have I been inches away from disaster and You have intervened to keep me safe? I may not know the answer to that question until I get to Heaven, but this I do know - - no matter where I go, there's no need to fear, because You go right along with me! AMEN."

(Lyrics below)

I feel the touch of hands so kind and tender,
They're leading me in paths that I must trod;
I have no fear when Jesus walks beside me,
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God.

So let the storms rage high, the dark clouds rise,
They won't worry me for I'm sheltered safe within the arms of God;
He walks with me and naught of Earth shall harm me,
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God.

Soon I shall hear the call from Heaven's portals,
Come home my child, it's the last mile you must trod;
I'll fall asleep and wake in God's new Heaven,
Sheltered safe within the arms of God.

So let the storms rage high, the dark clouds rise,
They won't worry me for I'm sheltered safe within the arms of God;
He walks with me and naught of Earth shall harm me,
 For I'm sheltered in the arms of God.

For I'm sheltered in the arms of God!
