Sept 13 - God's Marvelous Creations

Bible Verse: Psalm 104:24 New Living Translation (NLT) "O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your creations."

Prayer: "Dear Heavenly Father,  I thank You and praise You for the variety, beauty, and complexity I see in nature.  From the farthest star to the dandelions under my feet, I can see Your awesome creative power all around me.  Help me to not only appreciate nature, but to protect it and respect it.  You have given me this earth as my temporary home.  Help me to take good care of it and to never forget that it was created by Almighty God.  When I look at the wonders of nature all around me, I am truly amazed. You are an awesome God! In Jesus name, AMEN."

"This Is My Father's World"

This is my Father's world,
and to my list'ning ears
all nature sings, and round me rings
the music of the spheres.
(This is my Father's world:
I rest me in the thought
of rocks and trees, of skies and seas;
His hand the wonders wrought.)

This is my Father's world,
the birds their carols raise,
the morning bright, the lily white,
declare their Maker's praise.
This is my Father's world:
He shines in all that's fair;
in the rustling grass I hear Him pass;
He speaks to me everywhere.

This is my Father's world.
O let me ne'er forget
that though the wrong seems oft so strong,
God is the ruler yet.
This is my Father's world:
why should my heart be sad?
The Lord is King; let the heavens ring!
God reigns; let the earth be glad!
