Bible Verse: Philippians 1:11 New Living Translation (NLT) "May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God."
Prayer: "Dear Heavenly Father, Sometimes it is a challenge for me to play piano for church and even to write these devotionals . . . with my late stage Neurological Lyme Disease relapse, it is getting harder and harder for me to concentrate and to read music. Sometimes, when I have a bad migraine, I can't concentrate or read the music at all. It is then that I have to rely on the gifts that you've given me of being able write and to play piano by ear. Sometimes people comment on how well I've played the piano or compliment me on a good devotional or clap when I've finished playing piano. But Lord, I don't do any of this for people's applause or praise. The only reason that I write these devotionals or play piano for church is to bring YOU glory and honor. My writing and my music are my offerings of worship to YOU! I thank You and praise You that I have (so far) been able to continue writing devotionals and to play piano so far, even though sometimes I cannot even see or think very well. May everything I say and do bring You glory, I pray. In Jesus' precious and holy name, AMEN."
