Dec 11 - I Wonder If She Knew?

Bible Verse: Luke 1:28-31 New Living Translation (NLT) "Gabriel appeared to her and said, 'Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!' Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean.'Don’t be afraid, Mary,' the angel told her, 'for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.' "

Prayer: "Dear Jesus,  I wonder if Your mother had any idea, when she first held You in her arms, that she was holding the Son of God? I wonder if she knew that You would someday die to redeem the entire human race? If she had known, would she have done anything differently, I wonder? I guess it really doesn't matter, but I am so glad that she was willing to be used of God to bring You into this world.  Jesus, I am so glad that You came!  In Your precious and holy name I pray, AMEN."

"Mary, Did You Know?"

Mary did you know that your Baby Boy will some day walk on water?
Mary did you know that your
Baby Boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your
Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you
.

Mary did you know that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary did you know that your
Baby Boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod? And when your kiss your little Baby, you've kissed the face of God.
The blind will see, the deaf will hear, and the dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the Lamb!

Mary did you know that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary did you know that your Baby Boy will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your Baby Boy is Heaven's perfect Lamb?
This sleeping Child you're holding is the great I Am.
