Dec 4 - Someday We'll Meet Again!

Bible Verse: John 14:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV) "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

Prayer: "Dear Jesus, Recently I've said good-bye to some dear family members and close friends. It feels so final watching them be lowered into the ground. I know, though, that because of Your promise, and because they were believers, that I will see them again one day in Heaven.  Thank You, Lord, for the comfort that this brings . . . knowing that our good-byes are not forever.  It still hurts a lot, though.  Sometimes the grief is almost more than I can bear.  But I'll keep holding onto Your promise that I will see them again one day, in the sweet by and by. In Your precious and holy name, AMEN."

"In the Sweet By and By"

There’s a land that is fairer than day,
And by faith we can see it afar;
For the Father waits over the way
To prepare us a dwelling place there.

In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore;
In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

We shall sing on that beautiful shore
The melodious songs of the blessed;
And our spirits shall sorrow no more,
Not a sigh for the blessing of rest.

In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore;
In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

To our bountiful Father above,
We will offer our tribute of praise
For the glorious gift of His love
And the blessings that hallow our days.

In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore;
In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore;
In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore.
