Dec 23 - Forgive Us, Lord!

Bible Verse: Luke 23:34 New King James Version (NKJV) Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

Prayer: "Dear Lord,  You were that sweet little Jesus boy.  And yet, they whipped You like a dog and hung You up to die like a criminal.  They didn't know who You were -- that You had come to save us all.  And with Your dying breath, You asked Your Father to forgive them for what they were doing! What inconceivable love and compassion! As a human race, we have sinned in oh, so many, many ways.  Please, Sir, forgive us, Lord! And thank You, sweet little Jesus Boy, for coming here to die to save us from our sins. In Your precious and holy name I humbly pray, AMEN."
